About Debra Duwe, MA, CMT"Eagle Woman Who Dances in the Light" Debra Eagle Woman (Porter) Duwe, MA, is an educator, Earth Medicine Way teacher, facilitator, massage therapist, Lightworker and ceremonial leader. She assists her clients in connecting to all parts of themselves—emotional, physical, mental, spiritual and sexual life force energy. She uses ancient healing ceremonies such as the sweat lodge, talking stick, vision quests and personal ceremonies to create "sacred space" for healing, connection, and balance. Raised on the banks of Forge Brook Medows in the Hudson Valley, nurtured by the Sierra Nevadas of California, and called to the pristine beauty of North Idaho, Debra's connection with nature began at an early age. Life service brought her to education as a teacher, principal, parent communicator and Academic Director of an emotional growth boarding school for troubled teens, staff development trainer and most of all a child advocate. She has facilitated individuals, groups and organizations in the change process, trained staff and students in conflict resolution and cooperative learning. She considers herself a "holistic" educator. Her spiritual path led her back to her path of heart.....ancient earth medicine ways. On this path she received her spiritual name Eagle Woman Who Dances in the Light. Her initial training occured within the Metis Medicine Ways (mixed ways, mixed blood, mixed traditions) of the North America. She continued her own growth and path and holds the wisdom of the medicine wheel as a mesa carrier from the South American tradition of the Inka and the Quero elders of the Andes. With in these two traditions of North America and South America balance, wisdom and beuaty are found as the Eagle and the Condor soar together. Debra Eagle Woman Duwe holds a BA degree in Sociology and Spanish and a Master's degree in Educational Administration. She was named outstanding Graduate from Santa Clara University in 1990 in Counseling Psychology and Education. Eagle Woman is available for individual sessions, group work, organization and workshops. She is available in person or by phone and is available to travel. Spiritual/Personal Growth Training:
